William Brian Miller

William Brian Miller (Brian) was born in Glasgow, however, after attending Duncan of Jordanstone college of Art in Dundee, settled in the North East. Having taught in further and higher education along with a few years in the secondary school system, he now paints full time from his studio in Kirriemuir. He is a traditional painter, concerned with the craft of painting, how the use of materials affect the quality of surface as well as sound draughtsmanship.
