Shona Cammack is a landscape painter who is drawn to the wild places and remote landscapes of Scotland. A deep connection to the Scottish landscape, and a love of outdoor adventure, provide the inspiration for her paintings. She lives in Deeside, on the edge of the Cairngorms, and is inspired by the ancient pine forests, lochs and high mountains of this area as well as the more rugged landscapes of the west coast.

Shona works outdoors on location where possible, gathering inspiration through mixed media studies and drawings. Some of these become final paintings and others are used in the studio as inspiration for her expressive and deeply layered oil paintings.
