Kevin Dagg is a Scottish artist whose work explores the intersection of the human condition, the digital age, and the preservation of the natural world. After studying at Gray's School of Art in Aberdeen, he completed an MA at Edinburgh College of Art, where he subsequently served as a lecturer in Sculpture. Driven by a deep connection to Scotland's ancient woodlands, Dagg often works en plein air, using drawing and painting to express humankind's longing for the wilderness as an antidote to the digital age. His work has been exhibited internationally and he is the recipient of several prestigious awards, including the Guthrie Award, the Benno Schotz Prize for Sculpture from the Royal Scottish Academy, and, most recently, a grant from the Pollock-Krasner Foundation in New York.
