Euan McGregor
Euan McGregor graduated from a BA (hons) in Printmaking at the Glasgow School of Art in 1998 and has since pursued a career in fine art, with a focus on landscape painting. Euan’s influences include the St Ives school, Ivon Hitchens, Keith Vaughn and Milton Avery, among others, and is particularly interested in mid 20th century British landscape painting and printmaking. Drawn towards modernist architecture, his recent work is inspired by iconic whisky distilleries of Scotland and the wild landscape they often inhabit. Frequently exhibiting in the PAI, RGI and RSA annual exhibitions and at British Art Fairs, the artist has won awards throughout his career and continues to exhibit across the UK. Euan lives in North Ayrshire with his young family and teaches Art & Design in a secondary school in Renfrewshire.
