Anna Wilson grew up on her family's farm on the beautiful and picturesque Knoydart peninsula on the west coast of Scotland, one of the most remote and unspoiled areas of mainland UK. A highly regarded artist, her skilled and extremely detailed drawings of animals and wildlife capture warmth and human connection and, as a result, she is in high demand for private commissions. Taking inspiration from her surroundings, working mainly in graphite pencil, though occasionally in pen and ink, Anna hones in on the details of texture and form, from the feathers of hatchling chicks, to the weathered stone of crumbling old buildings, and leafy ferns reclaiming ancient walls.
