Ise Stumpff
Ise Stumpff

Ise works from a studio in Lochaber, where she designs and makes stained and painted glass panels using techniques originally developed by medieval master craftsmen. Her inspiration comes from the beauty of the natural world surrounding her home. She is fascinated by the textures and colours of the plants and wildlife and her challenge is to translate these into stained and painted glass. She has worked with stained glass since 1977, as a maker/artist, teacher and restorer/ conservator. From 1991 until 2016 she was employed at the Burrell Collection in Glasgow, where she worked on the conservation of the medieval stained glass collection.

70% from the sale of any of Ise's artworks will be donated to the My Name'5 Doddie Foundation to support research into Motor Neuron Disease
